Applying Your Prepaid Balance
Once you have received your 12-digit PKNIC prepaid card code from us via WhatsApp, the next step is applying it to your PKNIC account. Think of this code as a digital voucher—once redeemed, it adds a specific amount of credit (typically equal to a 2-year domain registration) to your account.
Step-by-Step Redemption Process
- Log In: Visit the official registry at pknic.net.pk and log in with your username and password.
- Go to Billing: In the left-hand sidebar or top navigation menu, look for the Billing or Payments option.
- Select Prepaid Card: Choose the option labeled "Pay by Prepaid Card" or "Redeem Card".
- Enter the PIN: Carefully type in the 12-digit PIN code exactly as provided. Make sure there are no spaces or dashes unless requested by the system.
- Submit: Click the submit button. You should see a success message indicating your account has been credited.
Troubleshooting: "Card Already Used" Error
If you encounter an "Already Used" error, don't panic. Follow these steps:
- Check your balance: Sometimes the system processes the request but the page times out. Check your account's credit balance or billing history. The credit may have already been successfully applied.
- Verify the digits: Ensure you haven't confused an 'O' (letter) with a '0' (number), or an 'I' with a '1'.
- Contact Support: If you purchased your card from PknicCards.pk, simply message us on WhatsApp with your order details and the PIN code. We guarantee all our cards and will instantly verify the card's status directly with the registry.
What can I use the credit for?
Once the credit is in your account, you can use it for multiple purposes:
- Registering a brand new .pk, .com.pk, or .org.pk domain.
- Renewing an existing domain that is about to expire.
- Transferring a domain from another account (transfers require 1 card credit).
